OceanPoint Insurance Announces 2019 Nonprofit Human Services Executive Workshop Series

Join peer leaders in a workshop setting to gain actionable knowledge from industry experts to take back to your team and enhance your mission results.   The 2019 schedule will include four two-hour workshops held in the Providence and Newport RI region – come network with peers with similar challenges, hear from the experts, take back ideas and inspiration to advance your unique mission of service.   The April 16th launch entitled “Sensible Stewardship: Managing Governance Risk” will include experts in the disciplines of board governance, legal, public relations, banking, and risk management.   Later 2019 workshops will bring actionable learning on active threat/shooter preparedness, human resources, and developing a safety culture within your organization.   Collaborate with peers and connect with experts to glean best practices to strengthen your cause and organization.

David Madara joins OceanPointDavid has dedicated his career working with his clients to manage their business risks and protect their assets with well-crafted insurance protection. From working in a third-generation family owned independent insurance agency where he embraced the values of intimate client care, to lead the regional Nonprofit Practice for an international brokerage firm where he managed complex business relationships, Madara brings a sense of practicalness to his mission based clients as their trusted advisor. In working with his clients, he empowers them to identify and manage their business risk as a necessary component of success, while implementing strategies and insurance protections to avert outcomes that negatively distract their mission. Madara resides in Westport MA and spends much of his free time working as a local Boy Scout leader, a Red Cross disaster response team member and a men’s group leader in his faith community.
