OceanPoint Insurance Workshop Enables Nonprofit HR Execs to Focus Time and Resources on Their Mission

Nonprofit Insurance Workshop

Workshop Leaders L to R – John Kaull, Commercial Lines VP, OceanPoint Insurance; Cynthia Koral, Chief Marketing Officer, 501c Agencies Trust; Sonya Llewellyn, 501c Agencies Trust Assoc Director of HR Services; David Madara, OceanPoint Insurance Nonprofit Practice Leader.

OceanPoint Insurance Agency’s Nonprofit Practice held workshops this week in Providence and Middletown.  The purpose of these workshops was to address the human resource management needs of the nonprofit executives.    Those in attendance represented over $40M of human services programming in the Ocean State.  For nonprofits, it is essential to find ways to save costs so that programming funds can serve the people and not the administrative costs.

The execs walked away with inspiration for managing their unemployment insurance obligations, this is a challenging administrative process, and we are excited that the new ideas will help nonprofits deliver on their mission.

OceanPoint’s Nonprofit Practice is committed to bringing actionable resources and insurance options to its clients through hands-on workshops, industry partnerships, and strong leadership.

In addition to repeating this successful workshop in 2019, we will address:

  • Board Governance challenges
  • Maintaining a Safety Culture
  • Active Shooter Preparedness
